Investment Drive 2023
Over the past 30 years, your support in Dubuque Main Street has resulted in over $647 million in community reinvestment, new businesses, new jobs, business expansions and a sustainable direction for the Dubuque community. This year, we want you to become an even bigger part of our collective vision. When you invest in Dubuque Main Street, you're not just benefitting your business, you're choosing to support economic vitality efforts that benefit our downtown and Dubuque as a whole.
Your donation is tax deductible. All investors receive website recognitions, a 2023 window cling, and quarterly updates on our initiatives. Any level of investment is critical and appreciated. The levels below are based on our projects and community needs. All levels of investment receive benefits of category and those of lesser amounts.
There will be additional opportunities in 2023 to sponsor individual events.

President's Circle
$6,000 & Above
This level of investment receives a table at our annual State of Main awards banquet and puts dollars towards all of our Strategic Plan initiatives for Economic Vitality, Historic Preservation, and Driving Activities and Events including:

Maintain a block-by-block inventory to capture development needs across downtown (both large and small) and a list of property owners, small businesses, and available properties

Initiate downtown district committees with DMS staff, board members, property owners, residents, and business owners
-
Conduct annual one-on-one meetings with property and small business owners to learn more about needs and aspirations
-
Identify available funding opportunities and resources in the community
-
Support property owners in identifying funds for historic preservation
-
Connecting property owners and small businesses to funding opportunities, resources, and each other to drive increased development and growth
-
Proactively recruit existing businesses located outside of downtown to fill vacant storefronts
-
Recruit new entrepreneurs to open new businesses downtown

Advocate for local, state, and federal initiatives that support small business growth and historic preservation

Coordination and growth of Dubuque Farmers’ Market

Develop and implement a framework to assess current and potential opportunities for events

Capture an inventory of existing events that happen downtown and who leads them

Develop resources guides for individuals, businesses, and organizations wanting to put on events in downtown

Make resources readily available to the public on our downtown Dubuque website

Actively promote increased event activity downtown

Identify opportunities to drive increased activity downtown, both for special events (e.g., cruise ships, Field of Dreams) and for ongoing tourism programming

This level of investment puts dollars towards our Economic Vitality and Historic Preservation Strategic Plan initiatives including:

This level of investment puts dollars towards our Driving Activities and Events Strategic Plan initiatives including:

For the cost of one print advertisement, Dubuque Main Street will promote your business all year long with direct information and links to your website/social media pages on the Dubuque Main Street website, and with monthly social media and email blasts. This level only applies to small businesses with 25 or fewer employees.
Not for Profits, Home Based Businesses and Food Trucks
$125
For less than the cost of one print advertisement, Dubuque Main Street will promote your business all year long with direct information and links to your website/social media pages on the Dubuque Main Street website. Your donation also helps us keep improving the Dubuque Farmer's Market. This only applies for not-for-profits with 3 employees or less, home based businesses, and food trucks.
Individuals and Downtown Residents
$60 & Above
