Downtown Under Construction

with Dubuque Main Street

Themed Downtown Business PM and Tradeshow

NEW LOCATION because of JULIEN INN CONSTRUCTION!

Put on your construction hard-hat, grab your tool box, and join your coworkers and friends at the “Downtown Under Construction” themed Business PM, hosted by Dubuque Main Street from  5-7 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, at the Kirby Building, 700 White Street.   Residing in Dubuque’s Historic Warehouse District, the largest trade show event and networking opportunity of the year will feature more than 80 area businesses, “Downtown Under Construction,” themed booths, costumes, as well as entertainment, food, and beverages.

All attendees are encouraged to meet with new and existing businesses, sign-up for prizes, and participate in the “Can You Dig It?” excavation scavenger hunt!  Prize packages will be presented for “Best Dressed” Female, Male and Booth for those getting into the spirit of the “Downtown Under Construction” theme, and scavenger hunt.

The annual Downtown Business P.M. sponsored by Dubuque Main Street has historically been held at the Julien Inn.  With the more than 22+ million dollar renovation of the hotel underway… the P.M. has relocated to the second floor of the Kirby Building.

Premier Entertainment will provide the evening musical entertainment.  Food will be provided by A Little Taste of Philly, Bricktown, Cold Stone Creamery, the Diamond Jo’s Lighthouse Grill, Freddie’s Popcorn, Ice Harbor Galley, Julien Inn, Grand Harbor Resort, and Jan’s Grate Shop.   Beverages will be provided by Bartini’s on Main, Dubuque Main Street, Gin Rickies, Kirchoff Distributing, and Stone Cliff Winery.

The entrance is located on 7th Street and ample parking available south of 7th Street. Attendees are encouraged to dress in theme.

Don’t forget your shovel and business cards!   The Chamber charges $5 admission for their members and $15 for non-members.   Call Dubuque Main Street at 563-588-4400 for more information.
